Second video in a series about what it means to be a conservative. This is a tremendous video. You all need to listen to it, and send it to others.
1. Hope For The Conservative Future
In Texas half of Hispanics consider themselves conservative. Wow. Makes your heart warm. This very important for the future of this country. Maybe, just maybe there is hope. The connection has always been family values. Just when we are seeing some progress among Hispanics, “conservative” leaders are telling us to ignore family values and stick to economic issues. Whenever someone tells us this we should write them off.
2. All Gay And Women Army Soon
A small story on a big issue. Heterosexual males have been fighting our wars for over 200 years, and maybe they can take a break. There is nothing that women and gays can’t do. So, let them handle things for the next 200 years. Next we will have quotas on how many women and gays are required to be on a sub.
John McCain should get trounced in Arizona by J. D. Hayworth. If there is anything to this conservative tide, McCain is the poster boy for the out of touch elitist politician. We should be paying attention to those other politicians who endorse McCain. Sarah Palin gets a pass, for after all McCain did pick her to be his Vice-Presidential nominee. The rest get no such pass. Some are already on several lists. Romney and Scott Brown are obvious liberal Republicans that feel right at home with McCain. But newly elected Republican Governor of Virginia Bob McDonnell is not a usual suspect. He did not have to do this. We need to take him down a few pegs.
4. Beware Of Mitch Daniels And Fred Barnes
This is exactly what is wrong with most Republicans. Now Mitch Daniels is not a conservative, period. He is a George Bush the younger hack. His rules for Republican candidates should make us all want to vomit. We were sure about Daniels, but I was not sure about Barnes, now we know. Fred Barnes should apply for a job at the New York Times or on PBS. He would be a perfect “conservative tool” for main stream media.
5. Do Not Sacrifice Liberty For Order
Obama and his Justice Department want warrantless searches of any data from your cell phone. Bob Barr, former congressman from Georgia, warns us of the ever expanding incursion of the government on our liberties.
In abstract economic terms, free trade is by far the best international economic system for the average person. In political terms it can be catastrophic. The United States has embraced unfettered free trade for several decades, and there is no question we have benefited. WalMart is filled with less expensive goods from China. We get to buy goods with less money enabling us to spend the savings on even more goods. Good deal, but in the process we have given China a gun pointed at our head. China for political, not economic, reasons could destroy our economy. This article points out some reasons why and how this could happen.
Even the New Republic is catching the Marco fever. OK this even has me worried.
Thadeus McCotter is an up and coming Republican star. In this article he succinctly explains why the Republicans must boycott the Obama Care Health Care Summit.
Air Force General Norton Schwartz expresses concern that the proposed new policy on gays in the military might cause disruptions “on a U.S. Military under stress after years of war in Iraq and Afghanistan.” What stress, how about reenlistments going down. How about heterosexual males not signing up.
Ben Nelson, Democrat Senator from Nebraska, is voting not on the Senate jobs package because the same money could come from the billions still unspent from the original stimulus program. If Nelson can see this why can’t Scott Brown, Olympia Snowe, Susan Collins, Kit Bond or George Voinovich see this. Nelson points out we don’t need additional funding, the money is already there.
This video is the first in a series that will explain the conservative movement and what if future holds.
Afghanistan is not going away. El Qaeda is not the main enemy in this region, it is the Taliban. The Taliban is an effective brutal force. It is led by the new Mahdi, Mullah Omar. He says, and his followers believe, that he has spoken with God. Under our new rules of engagement we are fighting a politically correct war against an enemy where God approves of anything that would bring victory. If we can only hold out until the new gay army is ready.
I have said for months that reconciliation will be used by the Democrats. We still don’t know what the final bill will say, but the public option is not dead. If Reid can get 51 Senators to go along, they will pass a bill with the public option. This will be bloody and greatly improve the chances of conservatives in 2010.
Obama, Pelosi, Reid, every State Governor, and every Mayor are all in a huge bind. They need new taxes, but they need cover. Obama’s new bipartisan Tax Commission is just this. He desperately needs some Republicans to join him. Here are some suggestions: David Gergen, David Brooks, Mitt Romney, Peggy Noonan, Paul Ryan, Eric Cantor, Dick Cheney, Liz Cheney, either George Bush, Colin Powell, Bob Dole, Susan Collins, and Olympia Snowe. It would be no trouble to get most of these Republicans to vote for taxes, especially if Matt Lauer would say nice things about them.
I strongly urge everyone to spend time on Newsbusters.org. This is an amazing web page devoted to the liberal press and their attacks on conservatives. It updates all during the day, so you can almost always see new stories. It is a can’t miss, 5 star web site.
We all owe a debt of service to Glen Beck. He has kept relentless pressure on Acorn and Obama, all along supporting the Tea Party and conservatism. But. His interview with Sarah Palin was ridiculous, and his constant drum beat that there is no difference between Republicans and Democrats is starting to wear thin. I fear that before he is done he is going to bring us down.
Here are five news items for today. Link, learn, and see what the Conservative Czar has to say.
John McCain Duped by Bernanke and Paulson
This Arizona Republic article points out one very important point. If McCain is to be believed, then Bush’s Secretary of Treasury and ex-Goldman Sachs CEO, Henry Paulson, and Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke are liars. For the history of the economic crash of 2009 this is a very revealing piece of news.
The article also points out clearly why McCain should not be reelected. He admits being duped and supporting Bush because Bush asked him. McCain was clueless and was a major factor on why the American people supported TARP ONE.
Released private memo’s from Toyota point out that Toyota considered the Obama administration and the Democrat congress as anti-business.
Hurray for Toyota. The attack on Toyota by the auto unions and the United States Government is relentless. Toyota joins Ford as the conservative’s auto companies.
Nightmare on the People’s Freeway.
This shows the way for a Tea Party, Pro-Life third party in 2012.
Obama Pushes To Nationalization Schools.
One reason George Bush the younger was so distrusted by conservatives was his attempt to nationalize education. His “One Child Left Behind” was a dramatically liberal expansion on the Federal government on our educational system. No Democrat could ever have gotten away with such a program, but George Bush did. Obama is now going for a complete takeover.
Illinois Leads Progressive Movement For New Taxes.
Taxes, taxes, taxes, and more taxes will be the cry of the left from now on. Oh yeah, they will throw in some mythical spending cuts, but it will be all about taxes. Illinois, you know Barak Hussain Obama’s Illinois, will lead the way.

Too Bad, So Sad

Marco The Great
First, with great sadness, I am lowering my rating on Paul Ryan from B+ to B-. I have reached the conclusion, subject to further input, that Paul Ryan is a fixer. He is not a true conservative he is a pragmatic fixer. He buys into that cancer that inflicts some good people. A cancer that says government is not bad it is just misguided. Government can be fixed. So Sad.
Second, with great joy, I am adding Marco Rubio to the list of possible nominees. I know this is really pushing things, but he is that good of a candidate. If he wins the Senate seat in Florida, I think he will go right to the top three or four.
I am also lowering chances of Rick Perry being the nominee from 1 percent to 0. I should just take him off the list, but I will wait.
